On April 15th, 2021 at 1.00 PM team of Erasmus+ international project MODEST (Modernization of Doctoral Education in Science and Improvement of Teaching Methodologies) will organize webinar ‘Mental models for PhD students’.

People, who are in science, are dealing with a vast amount of information. Especially, for PhD students, who are encountering a huge amount of new knowledge there is a need to obtain tools for digesting new knowledge. Mental models are important tools, which help people to systemize knowledge about the world.

During the session the importance and definition of mental models will be presented. Some mental models (First principles of thinking, Inversion, Hanlon’s razor, Map is not the territory) will be analyzed in detail.
