Temple University (TU, World University Rankings: THE 2024 = 351-400 and QS 2024 = 721-730) is a public state related research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1884 by the Baptist minister Russell Conwell. On May 12, 1888, it was renamed the Temple College of Philadelphia. By 1907, the institution revised its institutional status and was incorporated as a research University. At the end of the year, the guide will be available to all interested parties on the project website. 10 informative seminars have already taken place in Riga, Tukums, Madona, Cēsis and Lielvārde. The results of the project have been presented to pre-school, primary, basic and vocational education teachers, heads of institutions and methodologists. Also, on August 27, 2020, the first workshop for pre-school education teachers took place in Riga – education educators learned the skills needed to work with the digital website created within the project and got acquainted with VIMALA materials for promoting reading skills in pre-school. publications in 2019, of which 702 publications by the UL researchers have been published in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, and out of these 453 articles have been published in international journals. Most articles belong to the fields of exact sciences, life sciences and medicine. The largest number of publications with foreign co-authors originates at the UL Institute of Chemical Physics – 66, followed by the UL Faculty of Medicine with 49 publications in 2019,” comments Ineta Romanovska , leading expert of the UL Department of Science.
