The guest lecture "A Christmas Carol: the Ghosts of Planning, Past, Present and Future" will be given by Professor Cliff Hague at the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences.

The lecture will take place on Friday, December 13th, at 10.30 (registration begins at 10.00), Alberta street 10, Room 313. Cliff Hague, is a freelance consultant, author and researcher, and Professor Emeritus at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh where he taught planning for many years. He was President of the Royal Town Planning Institute (1996-97) and of the Commonwealth Association of Planners (2000-06). He leads the UK ESPON Contact Point, and has worked on several Baltic Sea Region INTERREG projects. He co-authored the ESPON Synthesis Reports of 2010 and 2013.
