15:15 - 16:45 barrel museum (in Vaidava) and 1-1.5 hour long barrel demonstration programme, with a concise and sequentially demonstrated barrel-making process (without a barrel boiling), ancient barrel instruments, being jotted, laughed and visitors have the opportunity to test the old tools themselves. It will be possible to find out all the uncertain questions about and around barrels, their care, use and storage.

17:15 – 19:00 The beginnings of the town of Cesis have been searched for an 800-year-long past. They are linked to the medieval castle of Cesis, around which the city developed in the 13 th century. The castle has shared its fate through the centuries with the city of Cesis in the battles against Russian, Polish and Swedish troops. Repeatedly rebuilt and expanded, Cesis Palace acquired its current architectural form at the beginning of the 16 th century. Currently, it is the most impressive architectural ensemble in the Baltic, attracting guests with the romantic appeal of their medieval architecture. It is possible to see the medieval Palace and the New Castle at the Cesis Palace complex. In the Middle Ages around the Castle and Church of Cesis, close to each other, there were narrow, twisted streets with craftsmen and merchant houses. Although the medieval building of Cesis has been completely lost as a result of hostilities and countless fires, the historic center of the city has maintained its medieval planning until today almost unchanged. In the old city, the majority of the historic and architectural buildings of Cesis, such as St. John Church, Town Hall, Merchant House, Harmony House and Princess House were built in the 13 th century. On the first floors of these and other buildings are small shops and workshops filled with creativity. The houses are separated by unique courtyards, squares and squares - Roses Square, Unit Square, Līvu Square and other historically important objects.

19:45 - 20:45 dinner at the restaurant “Aparjods” in Sigulda.

Around 21:00 returns to a hotel in Sigulda.
