LU konferenceThe consortium’s goal is to improve the management of lung cancer from the aspects of early diagnosis, prevention and treatment, notably of lung cancers that are relatively rare. The results of the consortium’s work will be translated into policy recommendations, which will be integrated into the early diagnosis program and into methods for addressing the disease effectively.
In Latvia, the project is implemented by the scientists of the UL Institute of Clinical and Preventive Medicine, under the scientific guidance of prof. Alvils Krams.
LUCIA is led by the Israel Institute of Technology Technion.
