This year, the UL FM has enrolled a record number of 346 students, significantly more than last year and enrolment is still in progress to the UL FM Nursing Professional Bachelor Study Programme. In addition to the UL FM development, it changes its location. Starting from 26 August, the UL FM will be located at the main UL building, 19 Raiņa Boulevard, Riga.

‘Students’ choice in favour of the UL FM is the highest acknowledgment to the study quality and excellence of the teaching staff. The number of medical students, especially in the medicine study programme, has been increasing for three years. Both foreign and domestic students are willing to finance their studies in order to obtain a locally and globally competitive education. Therefore, our new home at the main UL building or the Alma Mater heart, can be regarded as a continuation of the UL FM development,’ says UL FM dean prof. Ingrīda Rumba-Rozenfelde.

In the 2013–2014 academic year, UL FM Second-level Higher Professional Study Programme Medicine has enrolled 188 domestic and 30 international students, three times the number of students admitted last year. 33 bachelor and 43 master students have been admitted to the Pharmacy Study Programme; 30 to the Radiography Professional Bachelor Study Programme and 22 students have been enrolled in the Nursing Master Study Programme.

Starting from 26 August, the UL FM Dean’s Office will be situated at the new UL FM premises (19 Raiņa Boulevard, Riga). Current and prospective students are asked to address all study-related questions to the secretary of their respective study programme: room 205 (first floor) FM Dean’s Office; room 109 (ground floor) Nursing Study Programme, international students and External Relations Coordinator.
