LU konference
Contestants are requested to publish their photos on the UL profiles in Facebook.com, Draugiem.lv; on Twitter use hashtag #atklaju. Each participant may post several pictures, meeting the competition terms.
Contestants should comply with ethical standards; rude or offensive photos will not be accepted for evaluation.
Three winners will be chosen in each social network. The 1st prize winners will be awarded tablet PCs Capital T10, the second best photos – prizes from Ghetto Games, and the third best – prizes from the UL.
Competition terms
1. The competition takes place on the UL profiles in Facebook.com, Twitter.com and Draugiem.lv:
2. Each contestant may submit several pictures, but preferably not more than three.
3. Placing photos in the social networks:
3.1. In Facebook.com photos should be published on the UL profile wall.
3.2. In Twitter.com photos should be published in personal profile, adding hashtag #atklajU and reference @universitatelv
3.3. In Draugiem.lv photos should be published in the UL profile gallery Discover Your Unique U! (Atklāj savu unikālo U)! 4. Photos with rude or offensive subtext, containing threats, pornographic content, call to violence, racial hatred and discrimination will not be accepted for evaluation. Choosing the winner 1. The best, second-best and third-best photos will be chosen in each social network (Facebook, Twitter, and Draugiem), depending on the number of likes (Facebook), retweets (Twitter) or "patīk” votes (Draugiem). 2. Should several contestants receive the same number of votes, the one who placed the photo first will be announced the winner. 3. Participants may take part in several social networks, but each photo can win only once and each participant may receive the award only once - in the social network where most votes have been collected. 4. The results will be compiled depending on the number of votes by 16 June 2014, 10.00. 5. On 19 July, the first place winners will be sent a private message in the respective social network. Winners' names and photos will be published in the social networks and www.lu.lv.
