To better understand the processes taking place in modern society, it is essential to delve into cultural history, of which the history of clothing and textiles is an integral part. Their making is part of traditional craft skills, which also include using natural dyes. Research into natural dyes is a world in itself that can provide insight into society across different periods. Traditional craft skills, part of intangible cultural heritage, are practiced today and are essential to society's sustainable development.
