International student mobility (ISM) has become a significant dimension of globalisation in higher education, and the Baltic States—Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania—offer a compelling regional context for examining these growing flows of international migration. This research area explores the patterns, drivers, and consequences of students crossing borders to pursue educational opportunities, with particular attention to how smaller off-beat destinations navigate the competitive landscape of global higher education.
