The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships call is open from 9 April 2026, with a submission deadline on 9 September 2026.
Important dates:
- 9 April 2026 - launch of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 call (access the official call on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal)
- 1 June 2026 - deadline for contacting your supervisor to begin proposal preparations.
- 20 August 2026 - final deadline to contact the Research Department of UL for proposal support, including review, feedback, and improvement.
- 9 September 2026 17:00:00 Brussels time – deadline for submitting proposals
- April 2027 – grant agreement signature for successful project

- organises Summer School for MSCA PF application preparation
Registration is now open for the Summer School “How to Write a Competitive MSCA PF Proposal” organised by the UL and taking place on 16–18 June 2026 at the House of Nature of the UL in Riga.
The agenda is designed to guide participants through the MSCA PF application process and application form, complemented by practical proposal-writing workshops, interactive work with supervisors, tips and tricks from evaluators and experiences from MSCA PF grantees.
