The photo exhibition University of Latvia Researchers Are Today’s ROCK Stars introduces researchers from across the University’s disciplines and invites visitors to see the people behind the research.
The campaign is built on a simple idea: science has its stars too. Their “hits” are studies and discoveries, their audience is society, and their influence reaches far beyond the University’s walls.
Science is a stage. And it is lit up by people whose curiosity, courage to ask questions and perseverance move the world forward.
This exhibition is part of the University of Latvia’s project “Aurora Nexus: Connecting People, Science & Arts”, supported by the European Commission through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and Citizens programme.
