You can change money to Latvian Lats (LVL) in the airport. The currency exchange office is on your right-hand before leaving the airport. 1 LVL = approx.1.4 EUR; 1.2 GBP; 1.8 USD   Cash machines and currency exchange points are available in the city, as well. Currency withdrawal and change is safe.
