Business Analytics with Power BI

The aim of the study course is to provide learners with basic knowledge of the use of the Power BI application for data processing and analysis, as well as an understanding of its application to data from several industries, and practical skills that meet the current job market demand in data/business analytics and business intelligence using Power BI and related technologies. Course tasks: 1. to master and organize data in an analytically friendly and effective way, 2. to acquire and understand the possibilities offered by Power BI for the automation and improvement of data analytics, 3. to acquire and understand how to automate data acquisition from several and different sources, as well as apply various important data transformations in the Power Query environment, 4. create automation of data merging and grouping, 5. understand the basics of the M code and be able to modify it as necessary, 6. understand and independently create data visualization and "dashboard" creation

Term Paper I

guidelines for the development and presentation of the bachelor's, master's and final thesis adopted by the Faculty of Social Sciences. The student coordinates the topic of the paper with the chosen scientific supervisor. The procedure for the development of the work and the presentation of the content is also coordinated with the supervisor. For the full-time study program, the paper development is planned in the 3rd semester, for the part-time study program in the 4th semester. Students present the developed work to the members and lecturers.

The aim of the course is to ensure the possibility for those having the bachelor’s degree of social sciences in library, information and archive studies to master knowledge, skills and competence in education (pedagogy) in order to develop education programmes and to plan learning activities in the library or another memory institutions, and to implement learning activities for different target groups of users to facilitate their information literacy, choosing the methods and content on a well-grounded pedagogical basis that correspond to the aim of learning and the specific target group, and to assess the learning outcomes. In order to reach the aim of the study course, the following objectives will be implemented during the implementation of the course: - to promote the formation of the understanding about the role of the libraries, archives and other memory institutions in the system of lifelong learning and the pedagogical competence needed in the work of the specialist

The students will acquire knowledge about client-server action models, about HTML and JavaScript client-side programming languages of the Web, and master a variety of Web page development tools, such as CSS, XML and others. They will get familiar with the principles of creating web pages, and the basics of website building and publishing information on the Web. The course introduces students to web server installation and administration, to published file protection solutions and access rights, and outlines the concept of log file analysis. In this course, the students will examine different ways of using web technologies in the education and organisation of education processes. The goal of this course is to provide insights into website design, development and editing technologies, and web operating principles. The course objectives are as follows: 1. Students will gain knowledge of website design, tools for creating and editing as well as creating and editing related documents

This course is aimed at the master level students who are particularly interested in the wide field of international law and consider specializing in this area. The aim of the course is to provide the students with the recent scholarly reflections in better understanding of international law as a legal system. It will discuss the established and new concepts of international law. The course will provide an overview of what every lawyer should know about international law in current more globalized world. Based on this knowledge the students will be able to follow and understand better those processes that today characterize international law. The more specific aim of the course is to examine the thesis that international law has entered the era of constitutionalisation. What is the basis and the content of this thesis? What are the arguments against? The course will inspire the students to think of the role of constitutionalist discourse in the world and what effect it has
