Museum of the University of Latvia (UL) is an academic basic unit of the University of Latvia, developed to collect, study, preserve and promote the cultural values of spiritual and material nature pertaining to the University of Latvia and the history of the fields of science represented here, promoting the public interest in the University of Latvia.

To fulfil its mission, the Museum of the University of Latvia collects, documents, conserves the items representing history of sciences, and ensures their accessibility to the public; the Museum creates thematic collections and researches the sources thereof, supports implementation of the University of Latvia study and research programmes, provides opportunities for lifelong education and public interest education through expositions, exhibitions and educational programmes.
