How to Submit Complaints, Suggestions and Feedback to the University of Latvia
At the University of Latvia (UL), we believe that continuous improvement and openness are key to success. Therefore, we highly value everyone’s opinion and encourage you to share your suggestions, feedback, or complaints.
For your convenience, we offer several ways to contact us and provide information. Regardless of the channel you choose, all information received is centrally collected and carefully reviewed. We operate on two levels: (1) faculty level, where matters relate to studies, academic staff, or the administration of a specific faculty, and (2) University level, where matters concern the University as a whole, administrative issues, breaches of academic ethics (including sexual harassment), or whistleblowing reports.
Your submission will be registered in accordance with data protection requirements. We will send you a confirmation that your submission has been received, we will assess the facts and respond to you through your chosen communication channel in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia. Afterwards, your data will be anonymised and used for statistical purposes to help improve our processes and ensure the best possible experience for you.
