At school, I did equally well in many subjects, which made it difficult to choose the future field of studies. After a thorough consideration and discussions with my family, I decided to enroll to the Physics department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, University of Latvia, because physics studies included and developed many skills in mathematics and engineering, as well
