Academic CentreThe UL Centre for Baltic Studies, abbreviated as UL CBS, is an organisationally academic unit, which implements studies of the Baltic Sea region, coordinates the educational and research programmes of the Baltic International University, with a centre at Uppsala University in Sweden. CBS provides an opportunity to acquire, with the use of the most advanced study methods, interdisciplinary, problem-oriented study courses, particularly important for the countries of the Baltic Sea region: the environment of the Baltic Sea region, the people of the Baltic Sea region, the sustainable development of the Baltic Sea region, and other courses. CBS was established in 1998.
