SpringerLink, the journal database of the publishing house Springer Nature in the fields of the humanities and social and physical sciences is since January 2018 available at the University of Latvia.

SpringerLink is a full-text database of Springer Nature journals. The scientific and academic staff and students of the University of Latvia are offered an access to over 6 million articles from more than 3 400 journals in the fields of the humanities and social and physical sciences. The Springer Nature company was created by the 2015 merger of the leading research and educational publishing houses (Nature Publishing Group, Palgrave Macmillan, Macmillan Education and Springer Science+Business Media). Springer Nature, as one of the leading publishing houses, provides high-level services to the scientific community all over the world, where these e-resources are an invaluable source of information for research in all fields of science. The SpringerLink database provides information from more than 10 million scientific documents: books, series, journals, proceedings, reference works. SpringerLink offers simple and advanced search for articles, and browsing by such disciplines: Biomedicine, Business and Management, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Economics, Education, Engineering, Education, Geography, History, Law, Life Sciences, Literature, Materials Science, Mathematics, Medicine & Public Health, Pharmacy, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, Statistics. SpringerLink also offers high-quality archives of Springer, Palgrave Macmillan un Adis journals. Springer Journals offer more than 2 500 journals in English and more than 150 journals in German in 11 diverse subject areas. Palgrave Macmillan Journals include over 40 journals spanning business and economics, humanities and social sciences. Adis Journals offer more than 30 medical journals in a range of various disciplines, including clinical trials, pharmacokinetics, pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
