The course is aimed at providing doctoral students on a pedagogy program with the opportunity to study the conceptual guidelines on designing teaching aids in the context of sustainable development, to understand the mechanisms of developing a learning content and possibilities of evaluation. Within the framework of the study course, the students will analyze and evaluate teaching aids, comprising not only educational literature, methodological and teaching aids, but also the resources of digital teaching aids. The study course will promote doctoral students’ understanding about developing the conception of teaching aids, about the criteria for their development and evaluation. Doctoral students will acquire the skill of formulating a conceptual system of didactic principles, strategies, methodological techniques by using information technologies (IT), as well as a competence in evaluating teaching and auxiliary aids in the branch they have chosen. At the beginning of the course, students are introduced to the basic elements of the brand, their structure and functions, based on theory and analysis of existing brands. During the course, students learn to apply the acquired knowledge in practice, creating a Brandbook. Learning the basic elements of the brand provides a basis for the student's understanding of the basic principles of visual image construction.
