The goal of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to learn current educational technologies - digital classroom journals, online learning platforms and tools for developing interactive learning materials.
The course objectives are:
1. To help students to acquire skills to orientate in technology usage possibilities and topicalities in the study process;
2. To promote awareness of safety and ergonomics issues, and digital school management systems and their functions. The acquired knowledge and skills can be applied in the daily work of a teacher.

The course is intended to enable and promote the professional development of the doctoral students as university lecturers.The course will explore the latest tendencies of development in tertiary education, aspects of paradigm change in knowledge management, development of modern learning environment, various study modes, lecturers' and students' roles and activities. The doctoral students will have opportunities to improve their critical thinking skills, competences how to develop a supporting learning environment in higher education, to develop themselves as lecturers.

5. Learn the skills to divide mathematics into tasks, analyse and base your ideas and evaluate their realisation.
