The purpose of the course is to promote understanding of specifics and symbolism of Eastern art and architecture; to develop skills in research in Eastern Art and Architecture.
The tasks of the course are:
- to acquaint students with the main trends and development stages of art and architecture in India, China, Japan, Korea, Tibet and Islam areas;
- to pay special attention to the world view and to give a profound understanding of how it manifests in visual and auditive form; to develop skills in recognition and evaluating the works of art.

- to acquaint students with the religious meaning and symbolism, as well as with the main trends and development stages of art and architecture in India, China, Japan, Tibet, Southeast Asia and Islam areas;
- to pay special attention to the world view and religious ideas in order to give a profound understanding of how they manifest in visual and auditive form; to develop skills in recognition and evaluating the works of art.

The course examines the development of Italian art and literature in a chronological order in order to provide students with basic knowledge of the development phases of literature and art and of the interrelationships and interconnections between the two fields.
The aim of the course is to provide students with skills in the literature analysis and to broaden the horizons in the analysis of Italian artistic and literary phenomena. The course uses a direct textual approach, as well as audiovisual materials selected according to the topic. Students are offered to enhance the understanding of the most important issues of this course in the form of discussions. The analysis of the texts is performed in accordance with the students' linguistic competences, at the same time paying attention to the enrichment of the Italian vocabulary.

The course explores the social dimensions of the continental aesthetics concerning the main problems of art and experience: autonomy of art, the social transformations of taste, culture industry and the production and reproduction of art, education and the politics of art, aesthetic regimes, the problems of gender coexistence, etc.
The aim of course is to provide students with all elements of required to engaging in expert discussion of a concrete topic, to analyze and to confront different points of view (as example; Bourdieu & Ranciere, Irigaray & Bourdieu, etc.)..
The aim of the course is to give students an understanding of art as an expression of culture and society, the ways in which art is the surface of expression of political, personal and public discourses, and to draw attention to various aspects related to performance, such as identity and representation. Particular attention will be paid to how the art field and artists engage and form concepts of “society” and “identity.”
The tasks of the course are to acquire knowledge of the theoretical concepts of representation, societal structure, meaning, function, imagination and identity and the possibilities for their use in research. The course's tasks also include acquiring knowledge of performance and performativity approaches to anthropology and acquiring the skills to apply that knowledge to research.
Students will be familiar with works by V. Turner, D. Conquergood, P. Caster and other authors who have applied a performance approach to research or conceptualized the concept
The aim of the course is to inform students about the general concepts of contemporary visual art, its morphology, elements of theoretical models, interpretation of works of art and their context.
The task of the course is to develop students' ability to apply the acquired knowledge in the field of analysis of works of art.
