On Wednesday, November 28, 16.00, at the University of Latvia (UL) Academic Center Nature House (Riga, Jelgavas street 1, auditorium "Magnum"), discussions about science will take place. At the event UL researchers will explain the effects of light on the skin and will allow you to look at the protection of the skin from another, less heard perspective.

Although it is more common to associate the effects of light on the skin as positive, researchers are in other thoughts - it is scientifically proven that light can be toxic, promote aging and may also be the cause of various oncological diseases. Researchers are convinced that in no time working in the sun will be identified as a risk factor at workplace - without sun protection employees who are directly exposed to the sun, will not be allowed to work.
