Tuition fee per year (ac. year 2025/26): full time - 2800 EUR for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens, EU Long-term resident permit holders and their family members. 3000 EUR for citizens of other countries. Part time - 2200 EUR for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens, EU Long-term resident permit holders and their family members, 2400 EUR for citizens of other countries.

The study program prepares specialists with knowledge and skills in information technologies, business organization, and management. Graduates of the program should be capable of establishing modern, small-scale enterprises that can operate in Latvia, as well as in the European and global markets, by leveraging innovative web technologies.

The program offers the opportunity to work with the latest information technologies, acquire a modern profession, and obtain a professional Bachelor's degree in E-Business, with the right to pursue Master's studies. It also provides excellent opportunities to secure a stable and well-paid job already during the final years of study.

Study Program Director

  • 1. gads – biznesa informātika, tīmekļa vietņu veidošana, datubāzes, ekonomika, matemātika, uzņēmumu izveide un attīstība u. c.;
  • 2. gads – animācija, multimediji, vadības teorija, mārketings, grāmtatvedība, pētniecības metodes u. c.;
  • 3. gads – datu intelektuālās analīzes tehnoloģijas, informācijas sistēmas, to projektēšana, komercdarbības tiesības, satura pārvaldes sistēmas, prakse u. c.;
  • 4. gads – projektu vadīšana, produktu izsrtrādes vadīšana, krājumu vadīšana, e-tirdzniecības un maksājumu sistēmas, bakalaura darbs u. c.

Programmā ir paredzētas divas mācību prakses: "Informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju lietojums uzņēmumā" un "Informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju atbalsts biznesa procesu pilnveidē". Prakšu laikā studenti iepazīstas ar informācijas sistēmu vidi, uzņēmumos izmantotām informācijas sistēmām un pēc tam bakalaura darbā, analizējot esošo situāciju, meklē iespējas un piedāvā priekšlikumus to pilnveidošanā. Prakses vietas var būt valsts iestādes un uzņēmumi Latvijā vai ārzemēs. Programmas studenti parasti dodas praksē uz informācijas tehnoloģiju uzņēmumiem vai lielu uzņēmumu informācijas tehnoloģiju daļām.

Studiju programmas absolventi veido savus uzņēmumus vai kļūst par vadošajiem uzņēmumu darbiniekiem. Absolventi ir e-komercijas vadītāji un speciālisti, sistēmu vai biznesa analītiķi, informācijas tehnoloģiju konsultanti, datorspeciālisti, sistēmu projektētāji un projektu vadītāji, tīmekļa programmētāji, tīkla un datubāzes administratori.

During a single cycle of studies, students have the opportunity to spend up to 12 months abroad for studies or internships. Currently, the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has over 320 Erasmus+ cooperation agreements with universities across Europe and beyond. Students can participate in exchange studies in countries such as Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Turkey, Portugal, Slovakia, Malta, and many others.

In addition, students may take part in exchange programmes based on bilateral agreements, which allow for study opportunities in 53 countries worldwide — including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and more.

Short-term mobility options are also available through the FORTHEM Alliance, offering students the chance to gain new knowledge and skills in Germany, Poland, Norway, Romania, Italy, France, Finland, and Spain.
