Philosophy of German idealism and Romanticism. In the context of Baltic-German culture transfer (18th -20th Century) and Kant, Hamann, Herder reception in the Baltic and Intellectual History (Germany-Baltic States) Key words: History of Philosophy, History of Ideas, History of Sciences, Intellectual History The philosophy of the late 18th and early 19th centuries in the German lands strongly influenced the development of philosophy and science in Europe. Authors associated with the German idealist and romanticist movements, who were closely associated with the Baltic region, both introduced the new ideas of the time to the region and transformed them in the cultural and historical context of the region. Diverse and multi-layered lines of reception connect the German lands and the Baltics. Not all of these lines and networks have been explored. This can be said about the work of both the most well-known authors and those who are less well-known today in the Baltics.
