This research focuses on developing quantum magnetic field sensors using nitrogen-vacancy centers or atomic vapours, combining theoretical signal modelling with experimental device construction. The activities also involve compact, low-energy optical and microwave systems to optimize sensor calibration and operational efficiency and creating advanced algorithms to extract precise vector information from the optically detected magnetic resonance spectrum.
