Supervision is offered for postdoctoral projects on Baltic literary and cultural history (19th–20th c.), with a focus on women’s writing, life writing (diaries, letters, memoirs), and the cultural politics of the Cold War. Fellows can combine close reading and archival research with digital humanities methods (prosopography, TEI/XML, network analysis, database-driven literary history) and work with ILFA’s infrastructures such as Literatura.lv and Womage.lv. Possible directions include transnational networks of writers and translators, gendered intellectual histories, and the circulation of texts and ideas across Soviet/Western contexts.
