The webinar will take place on Friday, 6 June at 11.00. The planned duration is two hours.
(How) Are you utilizing AI in your studies and your daily life?
- Where did AI help you and where did you encounter difficulties and uncertainties? Do you feel adequately prepared by your universities to engage with AI, in terms of AI competency and infrastructure?
- Do you believe AI will eventually enhance teaching and learning, or are we simply responding to a pressure to adopt AI in higher education institutions and other sectors of societies?
- Where do you see ethical challenges and potential risks?
We invite students from across the FORTHEM Alliance universities to gather for an online campfire organized by the Alliance’s think tank for innovative learning and teaching to discuss these and other crucial questions.
What can you expect from the event?
- Engage & Connect: Meet students from other FORTHEM partner universities in a casual and friendly setting to delve into the topic of AI. No preparation or prior knowledge is required.
- Collaborate & Contribute: Develop and share your perspectives on AI and help formulate questions for an upcoming expert symposium on AI in Higher Education, scheduled later this year at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz Your insights will provide experts from all nine FORTHEM universities with valuable food for thought.
- Recognition: Receive a certificate of participation.
