The University of Latvia (UL) announces the auction Nr. 7/LU/2022 for granting the right to use the UL intellectual property – “Know-how, trade secret and unregistered Community design for clay mineral - anthocyanin composite material sensors for food quality control” and to conclude a licence agreement thereof.

    The written auction No. 7/LU/2022 (hereinafter – the Auction) results for granting the right to use the intellectual property of the University of Latvia – “Know-how, trade secret and unregistered Community design for clay mineral - anthocyanin composite material sensors for food quality control” – what has been created within the framework of project No. KC-PI-2020/11 “Clay mineral - anthocyanin composite material sensors for food quality control” (LU registration number ESS2020/371) of Activity 1.2.1.2 “Support for Improvement of Technology Transfer System” of Specific Objective 1.2.1 “To Increase Investments of Private Sector in R&D” of the ERDF Operational Programme “Growth and Employment”.

    The results of the Auction were announced by the Intellectual Property Management Commission of the University of Latvia (hereinafter – the Commission) on January 27, 2023.

    One applicant applied for the Auction – SIA “SMART INDICATORS” (40203440317) – bidding the highest price, whose offered amount of the interest payment is 6%.

    After evaluating the submitted application, the Commission recognized SIA “SMART INDICATORS” as the winner of the Auction, which obtained the right to conclude a licence agreement.

The University of Latvia (UL) announces the auction Nr. 6/LU/2022 for granting the right to use the UL intellectual property – know-how “Optical Non-invasive Hybrid Method for Early Diagnostics and Therapy Guidance in Sepsis”, what includes a method for visualization of oxygen saturation in the skin using multispectral diffuses reflectance images obtained under the illumination of narrowband spectra of visible light, and to conclude a licence agreement thereof.

    The results of the Auction were announced by the Intellectual Property Management Commission of the University of Latvia (hereinafter – the Commission) on December 23, 2022. 

    Six applicants applied for the Auction – SIA “EPM Rīga” (50103277031), SIA “Juvitek” (40003982134), SIA “ALL recycling” (40003802301), ChipMarkt GmbH (DE320069458), INDUSTRIVA S.L. (B04998530), CMP RAUFOSS AS (914088054) – the highest bidder is CMP RAUFOSS AS (914088054), whose offered amount of the interest payment for each unit sold is 7%.  

    After evaluating the submitted applications, the Commission recognized CMP RAUFOSS AS as the winner of the Auction, which obtained the right to conclude a licence agreement.

    One applicant applied for the Auction – SIA “ABC software” (40003627089) – bidding the highest price, whose offered amount of the interest payment is 8%.  

    After evaluating the submitted application, the Commission recognized SIA “ABC software” as the winner of the Auction, which obtained the right to conclude a licence agreement. 

The University of Latvia (UL) announces the auction Nr. 3/LU/2022 for granting the right to use the UL intellectual property – the invention “A Device and a Method for Detection of Gastric Cancer through Exhaled Breath in a Test Subject” according to international patent application No. PCT/LV2021/050006 “A Device and a Method for Detection of Gastric Cancer through Exhaled Breath in a Test Subject” and to conclude a licence agreement thereof.  

The auction of the granting the right to use the UL Intellectual Property  – Latvian patent application No. LVP2022000026 for the invention “Vision screening and vision training system”, know-how “Visual dysfunction detection and vision training program selection methodology” and copyright for “Vision screening and training equipment operating software” and to conclude a licence agreement thereof.
