The UL FinTech Business School is an academic institution of the University of Latvia (UL) with faculty status, specialising in business, finance and management. It offers modern and internationally recognised study programmes that combine academic knowledge with practical skills.
The BA School of Business and Finance became part of the University of Latvia on 1 September 2025, and from 1 September 2026, it continues its operations under the name UL FinTech Business School. The integration of the BA School of Business and Finance into UL was part of Latvia’s higher education reform aimed at strengthening research capacity and improving the quality of education. By combining the School’s expertise in financial education with UL’s broad academic environment, this integration creates synergies that provide students with wider opportunities for study, research and professional development both in Latvia and internationally.
The UL FinTech Business School serves as a science and innovation hub in the Baltic region, providing lifelong learning and professional development opportunities while fostering cooperation with employers and international partners.
