Inviting you to the concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of E.Vītols: “Skaisti dziedi, lakstīgala!”

The concert “Skaisti dziedi, lakstīgala!” (Sing thy song, nightingale!), dedicated to the 30th anniversary of conductor Edgars Vītols, will take place at the Great Hall at 7 PM on October 21, 2015.

Performing:
  • Mixed choir “Aura” of the UL Faculty of Physics and Mathematics;
  • Female choir of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music;
  • Male choir “Absolventi” of the Culture and Recreational center Imanta;
  • Mixed choir of the Riga State Gymnasium No. 2;
  • Brass band of the Jazeps Medins Riga Secondary School;
Program includes original songs by Latvian composers and folk song arrangements. The concert will be accompanied by soloists, composers and an instrumental band. Entrance € 5 – 7, tickets available at www.bilesuparadize.lv.
