CONFERENCE
Programme is made not only to get familiar with different cultures' features, but also to make new friends while breaking the stereotypes and creating comprehension. Programme is meant for students who are eager to learn about other cultures and their framework. If you are an active student, then CEP is just right for YOU! Don't be afraid to be open, active and friendly - it is your chance to make new friends and spend your free time usefully.
During this project at least twice a month we will gather foreign and Latvian students for meetings in order to get to know each others' cultures. Meetings will be divided in 2 categories - where 2 out of 6 meetings will be official, meant for cooperation and creating the base of action for the other 4 meetings in which we will participate in activities and events created by all of us together. To encourage cooperation and communication between participants organizers have planned many different group activities in between the meetings as well as unofficial meetings where they can get to know each other in an casual environment.
Programme is made to ensure tolerance and strengthen students' feeling of belonging, giving them the opportunity to participate in different activities related to culture. Participating in these entertaining tasks and discussions they will get a chance to get to know each other, find their team spirit, get to know cultural aspects of each represented country, through self-expression. Nowadays learning skills and abilities on every day basis ensure success in contact with others, therefore organizers of this project not only want to integrate foreign students into the environment of Latvian students, but also let each person to develop their individual skills, share new knowledge and experience.
Our main goal is to have an united and consolidated student environment, where there is place for both - Latvian and foreign students, accordingly the project is based on cooperation, integration and respect for foreign students' principles.

The project is realised by Student Council of the University of Latvia
 is searching for new participants. It is possible to apply until 29th September (midnight). The programme will unite all participants in series of activities, where they would be able to share their cultural experience. This semester it will last until end of November.){kind=link}
