Student autumn cleanup in the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia is an every year event in Student council calendar. Because of the cleanup event LU Student council invite students, teachers and friends also from other universities and everyone who wants to have a good time working all together and have a picnic after the work. For the first participants there will be warm tee at 10:45, so that until 15:00 we can prepare Botanical garden for the coming winter season, and also just breathe fresh autumn air between the garden exhibitions and spend some good time together with friends. LU Student council for a well done job will treat all participants with tea, malt drink, biscuits and warm soup for lunch.
Participants will be ensured with gloves and tools, but if someone has a rake at home don’t be shy to take it with you.
Definitely invite your classmates and other students from your university because parallel autumn cleanup event there also will be a race for the title of the most active faculty. Faculty with the biggest number of students and teachers represented will be awarded. The number will be fixed until 12:00.
Participants will have a support from friends: Fazer, Piebalgas alus, Fantasy Park, Latvijas valsts meži, Mežrozītes.lv un Rīgas Dome.
