University of Latvia, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Classical Philology and Anthropology Studies and Centre for Hellenic Studies invites you to participate in the 4th International Classical Philology Biennial Conference “ANTIQUITAS VIVA 2012: ΠΑΙΔΕΙΑ – Education / Learning in Ancient World and its Heritage” which will be held in Riga, Latvia, from 25 to 26 October 2012.

Application deadline extended You are welcome to submit the filled application form and summary of your presentation (APPLICATION_FORM) to the organizing committee of the conference until September 21, 2012 by e-mail: antiquitasviva@gmail.com. The notification of acceptance will be sent by organizers until September 30, 2012.

Languages of the conference: Latvian and English.
Proposed duration of presentation – up to 20 minutes.
The organizing committee provides a possibility to publish articles based on presentations of the conference in an edited volume of ANTIQUITAS VIVA 4: Studia Classica (published by the publishing house of the University of Latvia). Paper submission guidelines will be provided during the conference.
