We strive to establish a cohesive, standardised, and continuous digital transformation management aligned with UL’s strategic goals.
To fulfill its objectives, the department collaborates with service providers, process owners, the Safety Risk Manager, internal audit teams, and the Information Technology Service.
The Digital Transformation Department is responsible for managing and ensuring the process of digital transformation development initiatives, providing oversight of the strategic ICT project portfolio and project implementation, managing strategic ICT projects, defining the ICT project management methodology and approach, developing and updating the UL Digital Strategy, coordinating ICT development budget management, coordinating and overseeing procurement management of strategic ICT solutions, conducting process audits (LEAN, etc. etc.), map, analyse and optimise UL processes with a view to assessing opportunities for digitisation and efficiency gains, propose design methodologies for UL services, provide design and implementation support, and monitor these processes.
