Tuition fee per year (ac. year 2025/2026): full-time - 3500 EUR for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens, EU Long-term resident permit holders and their family members. 4800 EUR for citizens of other countries.

The aim of the study programme is to prepare highly qualified specialists who acquire the competencies of both software engineers and financial managers, enabling them to work professionally in Latvia and abroad.
The programme meets the Level 5 qualification standard for the profession of Programming Engineer in the Republic of Latvi
Graduates will become professionals in the field of software engineering: they will be familiar with programming languages and software development technologies, as well as data structures and algorithms. They will be able to manage software development projects and will acquire fundamental knowledge of database technologies and computer system development. These technical skills will be complemented by strong, competitive abilities and competencies in financial management.
Students of UL BASBF, as well as other interested applicants, have the opportunity to obtain an international professional qualification in financial management by successfully completing the “Financial Management” study module. This qualification is issued by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and serves as additional confirmation of the professional skills and competencies required for organisational financial management.

Ready to explore the world while you study? After completing at least one year of your studies, you can participate in the Erasmus programme and spend one or two semesters at one of our partner universities. The study mobility period ranges from 2 to 12 months. Tuition fees for your time abroad are covered by the partner university, while you continue to pay your fees at the BA School of Business and Finance. In addition, you will receive an Erasmus+ scholarship to help cover travel and living expenses. - Internships Abroad.
Looking to gain real-world experience? You can undertake internships abroad twice, each lasting several months, funded by the Erasmus programme.
