Partners

The QCS consortium is constituted by eight high level partners from seven countries. The consortium is interdisciplinary: 4 teams have mostly computer science background, 2 teams consist of a mixture of physicists, mathematicians and computer scientists, and 2 teams have mostly physics background. This consortium has the ideal balance to enable the kind of cross fertilization which was so essential for the initial development of quantum information sciences, and which more recently gave rise to novel ideas in quantum computing and cryptography, such as quantum random walks, adiabatic quantum algorithms, device independent quantum cryptography.
