I supervise postdoctoral projects in music studies, ethnomusicology and anthropology of music related to Latvia and its diaspora, with expertise in traditional (folk) music and its interpretive overlayers in folk music revivals, composed and popular music, and the concept of authenticity. I welcome interdisciplinary, transnational and comparative approaches including fieldwork-based research, archival work, music analysis and digital musicology. .
