Microbial Biotechnology & Synthetic Biology
Building on UL’s national microbial strain collection and genomics expertise, the postdoc will apply genome mining, cocultivation and strain engineering to activate silent biosynthetic pathways, unlocking new natural products and sustainable biotechnology applications.
UL infrastructure
Bioreactors (0.4–15 L), sequencing (Illumina, Nanopore), HTS platforms, HPLC/LC-MS and molecular biology labs.
