Additional funding rates for participants with fewer opportunities:
- mobility up to 14 days – 100 EUR for the entire physical mobility period;
- mobility longer than 14 days – 150 EUR for the entire physical mobility period.
Travel support
All mobility participants are granted one-time financial support for travel expenses. The calculation of travel support is based on the cities of the sending and receiving organisations where the mobility universities are located. The University of Latvia encourages participants to consider risks related to the environment and climate change and, whenever possible, use green travel solutions. For more details, please see the Declaration of Honour.
If, according to the distance calculator developed by the European Commission, the distance between the sending and receiving institutions is up to 500 km, travel should, whenever possible, be carried out using low-emission or environmentally friendly means of transport (green travel):
- bus;
- train;
- bicycle;
- shared car (together with other Erasmus+ mobility students from the University of Latvia).
Travel support is calculated according to the Erasmus+ Programme Distance Calculator.
