Elementary Latvian Language Intensive Course (A2) is for people with an elementary level of Latvian who are able to use the language in a simple way but may have difficulty communicating with other people in Latvian.
Each course offers 56-academic hour face-to-face tuition in groups. For maximum efficiency, the learners are also expected to study independently out-of-class. The courses aim to develop the learners' communicative competence in every-day situations by fostering the use of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, and the Latvian culture, history and current affairs provide the perfect backdrop for language learning.
Each course consists of 28 classes (90 minutes each/4 hrs per week).
