Would you like to go on a mobility, but you’re not sure if you can spare the time? Take a look at the opportunity to participate in a five-day Short-Term Mobility (STM) at one of the FORTHEM partner universities.

Currently, applications are open for 12 FORTHEM short-term mobilities that will take place between March and August 2026. Applications are open until November 24, 2025, by filling out the application form.

An informative online webinar (in English) for University of Latvia students about the open call will take place on October 29, 2025, at 16:15 on MS Teams. The webinar will provide an overview of the available mobility opportunities and application procedures.

Students from any UL bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral study program can apply for short-term mobilities. When going on mobility to one of the FORTHEM Alliance universities, students receive a scholarship that includes daily allowances (for accommodation and other expenses) and travel costs support according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator.

More information about the types of short-term mobilities:

You can learn more about the latest activities, experience stories, and feedback from other mobility participants (“postcards from students”) on the FORTHEM Alliance Facebook and Instagram accounts.
