Tuition fee per year (ac. year 2025/2026): full-time - 2800 EUR for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens, EU Long-term resident permit holders and their family members. 3000 EUR for citizens of other countries. Part-time - 2200 EUR for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens, EU Long-term resident permit holders and their family members, 2400 EUR for citizens of other countries.

The aim of the Bachelor's study program "Business Management" is to provide students with an academic education, competitive professional training, and practical skills in management science, ensuring a stable and sustainable demand for these specialists in both the Latvian and international labor markets. The program also aims to equip students and graduates with the ability to start their own business ventures.

The first academic year consists of a unified curriculum for all participants in the study program. Specialization courses begin in the second academic year. Full-time students have the opportunity to specialize in Organization Management, Marketing, International Business, and Business Analytics. Part-time students can choose specializations in Organization Management and Marketing.
 

  • 1. gads – praktiskā uzņēmējdarbība, ekonomikas teorija, svešvaloda uzņēmējdarbībai, ekonomikas informātika, statistika u. c.;
  • 2. gads – vadības teorija, finanšu teorija, mārketings, optimizācijas teorija, grāmatvedības teorija, starptautiskās ekonomiskās attiecības, lietvedība un lietišķā sarakste, kursa darbs u. c.;
  • 3. gads – uzņēmuma stratēģijas un politikas vadīšana, ievads tiesību zinātnē, finanšu grāmatvedība, personāla vadība, izvēles specializācijas kursi, izvēles specializācijas kursi, akadēmiskā prakse, bakalaura darbs.

Studiju programmā teorētiskās zināšanas tiek papildinātas ar praktisko profesionālo iemaņu apgūšanu vairākās vadības zinību jomās. Daudziem programmas kursiem ir praktiska ievirze: praktiskā uzņēmējdarbība, lietvedība, grāmatvedība, mārketings u.c. 3. studiju gadā studenti apgūst akadēmisko praksi uzņēmumos, valsts iestādēs un organizācijās.

Absolventi strādāt valsts un privātos uzņēmumos, bankās, valsts pārvaldē, pašvaldību un zinātniskās pētniecības iestādēs. Bakalaura studiju programma ļauj iegūt tādas zināšanas un iemaņas, kas dod iespēju profesionāli un sekmīgi strādāt visās iepriekš minētajās iestādēs vai uzsākt savu uzņēmējdarbību visdažādākajās tautsaimniecības jomās, kā arī turpināt studijas sociālo zinātņu maģistra grāda iegūšanai vadībzinātnē un ekonomikā Latvijā un ārzemēs.

During a single cycle of studies, students have the opportunity to spend up to 12 months abroad for studies or internships. Currently, the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has over 320 Erasmus+ cooperation agreements with universities across Europe and beyond. Students can participate in exchange studies in countries such as Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Turkey, Portugal, Slovakia, Malta, and many others.

In addition, students may take part in exchange programmes based on bilateral agreements, which allow for study opportunities in 53 countries worldwide — including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and more.

Short-term mobility options are also available through the FORTHEM Alliance, offering students the chance to gain new knowledge and skills in Germany, Poland, Norway, Romania, Italy, France, Finland, and Spain.

Classes are held:

  • Full-time studies: on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, according to the lecture schedule for the specific semester;
  • Part-time studies: on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 8:05 PM (times may vary each Saturday).
