The conference will explore different transformations of civic society and various dimensions of inequality in contemporary Europe. It will uncover how financial crisis in 2008 and migration processes in Europe have influenced society, economics, politics, media and culture.
The conference welcomes papers from political science, sociology, communication studies, information and library sciences. Contributions from interdisciplinary areas of studies (regional development, human development, memory studies, gender studies, etc.) are also welcome.
Ph.D. students are encouraged to submit proposals.
Paper proposals must include:
- Name, institutional affiliation, position and e-mail address of the participant
- Title of the abstract
- Keywords (max 5)
- An abstract of 200-400 words
