On October 8, 2009 at 18.15, professor Rasma Karklins (University of Illinois at Chicago) will give a public lecture "Corruption in Post-Communist Countries". Lecture taking place: UL, Raina blvd. 19, Room 1.

Lecture in English: Based on her book, “The System Made me Do It: Corruption in the Postcommunist Region,” professor Kārkliņa will outline a typology of postcommunist corruption, how it can be measured, and the institutional and political means to contain it.
