Join the University of Latvia team at the 2026 Rimi Riga Marathon

The University of Latvia (UL) has always supported a sporty and active lifestyle for employees and students. That’s why the UL Sports Center invites you to join the UL team at the 2026 Rimi Riga Marathon, where together we will aim to win 1st place in the team competition. Let’s run together in the biggest running event in the Baltics!

This year, the UL Sports Center offers the opportunity to participate in the 6 km, 10 km, half marathon, or marathon distances with a 50% discount, as the other half of the entry fee is covered by us. In addition, all participants will receive an LU sports T-shirt free of charge.

Entry fees with a 50% discount:

  • 6 km – 7.65 EUR
  • 10 km – 9.90 EUR
  • Half marathon – 16.20 EUR
  • Marathon – 23.95 EUR

To take part, please fill out the electronic application form already now. Payment can be made within five days after completing the form. In May, we will inform participants about race bib distribution and LU sports T-shirt collection.

How to register for the University of Latvia team:

  1. Fill out the electronic application form.
  2. Pay 50% of the entry fee for your chosen distance within five days after completing the form (no later than November 30):
    • 6 km – 7.65 EUR
    • 10 km – 9.90 EUR
    • Half marathon – 16.20 EUR
    • Marathon – 23.95 EUR
  3. Make the payment to the “Latvijas Universitātes Sports” association account: LV18UNLA0002300700316.
  4. In the payment details, indicate: “Payment – Rimi Riga Marathon (chosen distance)”.
  5. We’ll take care of the rest – all you need to do is get ready for the run!
