Application for the school year 2025/2026:
The application will run from July 1 to 28 and invites any athlete, regardless of their chosen study program or course, to participate.
Special appeal to prospective year 1 students!
If you start studies at the University of Latvia in autumn 2025, invite your application by July 13, and already on July 15 you will receive information regarding the preliminary amount of the Dual career Scholarship, which will help to cover the study fee.
In order to apply for a sports scholarship from the University of Latvia for the fall semester of 2025, an e-mail shall be sent to the sports@lu.lv by 28 July (invitation to prospective students of course 1 until 13 July), adding:
- a completed application questionnaire on the achievements of the past two years,
- CV in free form,
- a recommendation from the UL sports coach, Olympic Committee or sports federations,
- as well as other documents that may assist in evaluating the application.
