At the end of 2021, Latvian students in collaboration with local SMEs have performed the R&D tasks in order to tackle challenges related to the HR and Workplace Innovations.

In the result of the KAforHR project, a strong knowledge alliance providing SME-specific methods and instruments for workplace innovations, as well as an increased cooperation between universities, chambers and companies have been created. One of the project’s activities was organisation of the R&D tasks connecting students and local SMEs with the aim to collaborate and search for solutions for the real business challenges of the involved companies

During this collaboration, enterprises, firstly, defined their challenge or question, and then students, based on the analysis of theory and practical situation, were searching for the potential tools to solve the defined question. This collaboration ensured also that entreprenuers has  shared their business knowledge and practical experience with students, whereas students at the end of the work process elaborated a number of recommendations.

The R&D task was organised in cooperation with different Latvian SMEs from the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other companies as well as the bachelor study programme “International Business and Sustainable Economy” at the Riga Stradiņš University which is an associated partner in the KAforHR knowledge alliance and cooperation network.

We invite to see video on the results of the solved R&D tasks (for better quality enlarge video or open YouTube).
