Pharmacological characterization of extracts

- to study biological efficacy of the obtained Vacciniumberry extracts and their fractions with the help of antioxidant test and to assess their impact on various cell line growth, division cycle of cells, proliferation (normal, cancerous and mesenchymal stem cells). - to find link between concentration and the effect, to find the beginning and end times of effects that would allow to judge the comparative effectiveness of compounds. - to study the potential of pharmacological activity of the most active fractions and compounds using various in vitro tests. Further it is planned to search for effects of substances in inflammation, aging, hepatoprotective activity, oxidative stress and other models and to study intracellular signalling pathways, mitochondrial integrity, energy generation, DNA integrity.
