CONFERENCE
The aim of the Latvian Astronomical Society is to unite all those in Latvia who are interested in astronomy, both amateurs and professionals. The society was founded on December 1, 1993, and currently has about 70 members. You do not have to be a professional astronomer to become a member of the Latvian Astronomical Society, it is enough to have an interest in astronomy and science in general. Most members are amateurs and those interested in astronomy.
