On 14th September, 2012 at the University of Latvia, Senate Hall will take place a lecture of Ms. Antonella Cerasino, Head of NATO Countries Public Diplomacy Division of NATO, “NATO AFTER THE CHICAGO SUMMIT: THE WAY AHEAD”. The public lecture is organised by Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the University of Latvia.

Antonella Cerasino has been head of the NATO countries section in the Public Diplomacy Division since October 2007. In this role she has been working on organizing communication activities in all NATO member countries to illustrate NATO's policy, agenda and values. In her role she leads a team of information officers who organize a range of public diplomacy activities such as conferences, roundtable and visits for briefings to NATO HQ in Brussels by engaging with specific audiences such as academics, representatives of civil society, business community, parliamentarians, etc. Before that, she was spokesperson of the OSCE Mission to Croatia (2005-2007) and Team Leader of a European Commission sponsored Information and Communication Project on the Western Balkans, stationed in Sarajevo (2002-2004). Previously she has been working in Brussels and former Soviet Union in European Commission programs which aim was to communicate the EU policies towards the region.
